Hello Friends! Before I get into today's post, I want to say that like many of you, I am saddened by the devastation in California. The corporate office for my day job is located in Los Angeles and many of my colleagues have been impacted by these horrible fires. Please pray for all of those in harm's way, those that have be devastated by these fires and our brave first responders that are fighting the fires.

Today, I have a project that I was a little uncertain if I would like it and even more uncertain of how it would turn out. You've heard of explosion boxes, right? Well, they are very difficult to create yourself and I never wanted any parts of it! LOL! Well, along comes Scrapbook.com to make it super easy and foolproof!

OMG! This was SO much fun and I found myself enjoying every single moment of putting this awesome box together. I encourage you to click on that link so you can see it before it's all dressed up! Everything is already put together for you, all you have to do is open it and add photos, journaling, embellishments, whatever your crafty heart desires!

So, if you follow me on FaceBook (Carol Weatherspoon), you know that my family and I are HUGE Miami Dolphins fans! Well, our season didn't turn out the way we hoped, but our tailgates were EPIC the entire season!

We have 20 wonderful people in our Tailgate Crew and for the game shown above, we had 45 people at our tailgate! We had an absolute blast. Good friends, good food and we even had a DJ!! I'm telling you, EPIC!

Hello Friends! First, I want to start this post by sending my love and heartfelt prayers to all of those impacted by the terrible fires in California. I pray that those in the paths of the fires are to get to safety and be with their loved ones.

Today, I'm sharing a birthday card using a product that was meant for Christmas. I absolutely love using products in other ways than how they were originally intended. All products used on my card today are from Scrapbook.com.

Okay, the Christmas Animals II rub-on transfers are simply adorable! I love all the little scenes and the animals look so realistic. I started by die cutting a piece of Vintage patterned paper an then die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Stitched Stamp die.

Next, I used the rub-on and added it to the center of the stitched stamp. I also added a little ink blending for additional interest. I stamped my sentiment using the Happy Birthday stamp set and lastly, I added a few sequins for a little bling!

I love how this card turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! Love is in the Air!! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and Scrapbook.com has some amazing products for all of your love themed projects. Okay, this Valentine's Treat Box is everything!

This treat box is an add-on to the House Treat Box die which you need to create the box itself. The additions are the little heart panels and such.

This box was so much fun and EASY to create. You just cut two panels of the main house die and then you can decorate until your heart is content. As you can see for the front of my "house" I added that sweet heart to the door and the little mailbox with overflowing valentines! I also added the heart tree and that scalloped rooftop. Oh my goodness, I just love it!

I also wanted to show you that there is plenty of room in the inside. I added some Hershey Kisses, but you can add other candies or a small gift. The box is a really nice size. I can see making a bunch of these and having a Valentine village! So stinkin' cute!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends and Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025!! I am so excited to start a new year, I have some personal goals, I have some crafty goals and I have some professional goals this year. I am all about setting goals and achieving them!

In 2024, there was a goal I set for myself and I've had it in the back of my mind of a LONG time. And that was to host my very own craft event! I have to say it was a success and I had such a great time! I used the new A2 Pocket Envelope die from Scrapbook.com to document this momentous occasion. I love this die!!

That little notch in the center of the pocket is everything! I used patterned paper from the Merry paper pad for those diagonal stripes on the bottom.

*Typed in Pink T.I.P. - don't be afraid to use your seasonal patterned paper for every day cards/designs. You can always find a pattern that doesn't scream holiday and it's a great way to stretch your supplies.

I also added a little gold splatter to tie into that thin gold strip in the center of the envelope. Next, I used the new stitched cloud dies to add my sentiment, Dream It and Achieve It!

Inside of the pocket. I added my journaling along with a few photos from my Craft Stamp Sip Repeat event! I absolutely LOVE how this project turned out! I also used the stitched scallop nested dies to frame my journaling and photos.

Last but not least, I added a little bow using ribbon from my stash. I can see myself making many more of these envelopes and adding them to my scrapbook albums.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I'm back today with a holiday card to share. I used the awesome Ombre paper pad from Scrapbook.com. This paper makes it look like you ink blended perfectly (insert chef's kiss)!

I started by die cutting a sheet of Ombre paper using the new Nested Scallop Stitched Frame. I added the outside frame to my card base then I stamped my snow globe and die cut it out. I then stamped the snow glob image on top.

Next, I die cut a smaller circle out of the middle of my snow globe so I could create a shaker card. I added some sequins to the middle and then adhered the snow globe onto my die cut frame/panel.

Lastly, I added a few snowflakes to my card and finished it off by adding the Happy Holidays sentiment. I think this card is so fun and festive! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hello Friends! I did something I haven't done in a long time...Pocket Scrapbooking! I almost forgot just how fun it is! And, the fact that it can be done so quickly, really made me start looking through ALL of those photos on my phone!

I knew I wanted to use the Enchanted paper pad, so as I was scrolling through my thousands of photos (please tell me I'm not the only one), I came across our trip to Epcot. PERFECT!

I used a 9x12 Pocket page protector and went to work. I cut out my patterned paper and added to one of the side pockets. I then cut down 2 more pieces of patterned paper to add my title and photo.

I added a few more photos and typed up my journaling onto some vellum. I cut that down and added to the top of another piece of patterned paper. Lastly, I used a pocket card and slid that into my final pocket. I truly cannot wait to create another page!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hello Friends! It's that time of year, school picture time! As with all of the school pics over the last several years, I love adding the latest pic to my Memorydex.

So, first can I just say that I still can't believe the Paige is in the 5th grade! I'm going to have a middle schooler next year! How in the world did that happen? Okay, I digress...I started off by cutting my Vintage
patterned paper and then adhering my photo.

Next, I used my new favorite die set, Stitched Stamps and cut small faux postage using the same patterned paper. I then added the fabulous die cut on top of the faux stamps.

Lastly, I added a sub-sentiment using the Christmas Animals rubons. I absolutely LOVE the rubons from Scrapbook.com they go on like buttah! I love how this turned out!! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Carol
