Hello Friends! I know that holiday season is here, but we have birthdays and other special occasions to celebrate this time of  the year as well, right? So, today I have a card that can be used for any happy occasion!

For this card, I used Cloud Whip for the first time! I must say that I LOVE IT! It's a great texture paste and looks fabulous on the background of a card. I used the Buttercup and Vines stencil and added the cloud whip all over the stencil. It created such a beautiful raised texture.

Next I die cut a few balloons out of rainbow patterned paper. I added a little bakers twine from my stash to the backs of the balloons to mimic the balloon strings. Next, I die cut the word Celebrate out of black card stock and adhered that over the balloon strings.

Lastly, I added a few clear sequins to finish off the card. I really love how this card turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I have a fun card to share today using new dies from Scrapbook.com. We all need to have simple Hello cards in our stash, right? Well the Hello cover plate is perfect for just that!

This card came together pretty quickly. I used a sheet of beautiful patterned paper from the Harvest collection. I trimmed that down to just a little smaller than A2 size then I cut that gorgeous Hello cover plate out of white card stock.

Next, I pulled out some gold card stock and cut a few leaves from the Delicate Leaves die set. I added the leaves to the bottom of my card and for a finishing touch, I added a few gold pearls from my stash.

I can definitely see myself using this Hello die again and again! It makes for a quick and beautiful card! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I still can't believe she's in third grade! Where has the time gone?! I digress...for this sweet insert I used the new Roma stencil from Scrapbook.com. Next, I did some die cutting. I used dies from the Delicate Leaves and Layered Roses die sets.

I adhered all the leaves then added at that super cute photo! Next, I added the layered rose and for a final touch I adhered a clay heart from my stash. I just love how this turned out!

Hello Friends! I have a bright and cheery card for you today! I'm using some mew products from Scrapbook.com and they are good!

This card was so fun to make! I started with the Starburst stencil. This is a layering stencil and it makes for a really cute background! After stenciling my background, I pulled out a couple of sheets of patterned paper from the Rainbow paper pad. I used it to cut out that big gorgeous butterfly and add a little interest to the bottom of my panel.

After adhering my butterfly, I added a sweet sentiment from the Smiles and Wishes stamp set. This stamp set is so cute, if you haven't seen, go check it out! After I stamped the sentiment, I added a few gems from my stash and that finished off this sweet card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! Are you ready for Christmas? I'm getting there! Unfortunately for me I'm a little under the weather so that's put a damper on my holiday planning! But, I was able to make a card! I used a couple of new stamp sets from Scrapbook.com for this card.

Don't you love that cute car?! This set is called Joyful Ride. So, I started this card by ink blending my background with distress oxide ink. After ink blending, I spritzed it with water, let it dry then heat embossed my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Build-A-Scene Snow Globe stamp set.

Next, I stamped, colored and fussy cut my images then adhered them to my card front. To finish off the card, I added a few sequins for a little sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I'm popping in today with a fun layout showcasing my daughter becoming a Brownie! I remember Girl Scouts like it was yesterday, we had so much fun and I'm so excited for Paige to have this awesome experience.

For this layout, I started off with a stencil that I've had in my stash for a while, it's called Paint Strokes. Next, I used some distress oxide spray and spritzed it throughout my background. I absolutely love that distressed look!

Now to the fun part, I used Rub OnsScrapbook.com has an awesome assortment of rub-ons and they are so much fun! After adhering my photo, I added a few flowers and butterflies from the Hello Bloom die set.

I also added a sweet journaling card and this layout was done! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I know it's been a bit quiet around here lately but I have been so busy! I was traveling for my day job last week and then my birthday was over the weekend, so it's been a whirlwind! But, all is good and I'm back!!

Today, I have a card to share using a gorgeous stamp set from Scrapbook.com. The stamp set is called Hello Friend and I just cannot get over how beautiful this bouquet of flowers is.

To make this card, I started off with a pierced coverplate from PhotoPlay. I used some Kitsch Flamingo distress oxide ink to ink up the edges. Next, I heat embossed that beautiful floral bouquet onto some pink cardstock.

I used a nested heart die to cut out my image and then added a couple vellum sprigs and adhered them behind my heart. I added it to my card front and then die cut that sweet hello sentiment. Don't you love that font! I certainly do! I added the sentiment to bottom of my heart and then die cut some gold butterflies using the same die set to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! Can you believe that November is right around the corner?! I don't know about you, but I'm not ready! I'm just starting on my Christmas cards which means I'll be making the mad dash to get them all completed...again!

Today, I'm sharing a sweet card using a new stamp set from Scrapbook.com called Winter Wishes and Spruce Sprigs.

I started by trimming down a piece of Peppermint patterned paper (isn't it pretty!) and then I used a pierced die from PhotoPlay and cut it into a circle. From the stamp set, I used the cute girl holding the mountain of packages, stamped her in green ink and then fussy cut her out.

I adhered her onto my pierced circle and add my sentiment. I thought the card was already pretty festive, so I did not add any embellishments and I really love the way it turned out.

Hello Friends! Are you ready for Christmas yet? You know it will be here in a blink of an eye! I'm not quite ready either, but there is so much fun product from Scrapbook.com I had to make a little something, something!

This card was so much fun to make! I started by using that beautiful Peppermint Winter stencil but instead of ink blending, I used glitter paste. Once that dried, I added one of my favorite new products, distress mica stain and spritzed it all over the background.

Doesn't it look beautiful?! Oh my goodness, it looks like candy to me! Next, I cut a slim strip of white card stock and stamped my sentiment from the Christmas Expressions stamp set. Lastly, I die cut that cute little stocking and did a little ink blending before adhering it to the card. I added some stickles to the top of the stocking for a little extra bling.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! I think Fall is in full bloom, am I right?! So, I pulled out some great Fall products from Scrapbook.com.

Don't you just love these colors?! I used beautiful patterned paper from the Harvest paper pad. I selected two sheets and for the striped piece I used an arch die to cut it out along with a smaller piece on white card stock. I ink blended that with some distress inks.

I layered all the papers then started die cutting those awesome embossed leaves from the Autumn Leaves die set from another piece of patterned paper. I added the leaves onto the panel and then die cut the word Thanks out of brown and yellow card stock and added that to the top of my card.

I decided not to add any extra embellishments because I really wanted the leaves to be the star of the show!

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! Halloween is right around the corner, are you ready? I have a lot of friends that go all out for Halloween but I'm really not a huge Halloween fan. Of course Paige gets dressed up and we take her trick-or-treating and we pass out candy and we decorate a little but I don't dress up or attend parties. My hubby and I have a tradition, we take Paige trick-or-treating then come back home, set up at the end of our driveway and pass out candy while drinking some spirits! It's great!

Today, I have a Halloween themed card using some great products from Scrapbook.com.

I started this card by masking the middle of my card and then ink blending that awesome Magic Potion stencil. Next, I grabbed some distress mica stains and spritzed it onto my card front.

After peeling the masking tape, I added the words Hocus Pocus using some SBC stickers from my stash. For an embellishment, I used a few small bats from the Halloween Bats die. I think it's the perfect touch!

I think this is such a fun card! I hope you like it too! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hello Friends! I hope you're doing wonderful! I'm super excited today because I'm sharing a Disney layout using pocket cards and panoramic page protectors from Scrapbook.com.

As you may know, my family and I live in Florida so Disney is literally just a hop, skip and a jump away. But, once we went on a Disney cruise, there was no turning back! We absolutely LOVED it! I had to go back in the archives for these pics but I'm pretty sure they are from our second cruise. So Fun!

You can see from this pic how the panoramic page protectors fold out so you can add more photos, journaling or pocket cards. There are a variety of templates so you can pick which protectors will work best for your pocket page. This is such a great way to document moments in your life and my go-to for quick layouts are pocket pages.

I hope this post encourages you to dig through those old photos and get them into pages. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! Do you know what one of my favorite go-to techniques is?? Paper strips!! It's such a fun technique and now that there are dies available, it makes it even easier!

I chose some gorgeous colors from the Boho smooth cardstock pad from Scrapbook.com. I used the Slimline Strips die to die cut three coordinating colors. I grabbed an A2 size card panel and adhered all the strips and then cut it down so I could have a white border when I adhered it to my card base.

Next, I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Rose Blossom to heat emboss that gorgeous floral image. For my sentiment, I decided to go big or go home! So, I grabbed an I Love You die from my stash and cut it out with navy and vellum cardstock.

I adhered the sentiment on top of my floral image so you can just get a peek of it around the sides. To finish off the card, I used some Pops of Color in similar shades. Although there is a floral image on this card, I think it's perfect for a masculine card!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hello Friends! Today, I'm sharing a card that is always difficult to create, sympathy. I always struggle because I'm not sure if adding a lot of color is appropriate but I also don't want to send someone a card that will make them even sadder. So, I decided on gold heat embossing.

I feel like this card is elegant and would be received well. I started by die cutting a panel that is a mini slimline size. I used the beautiful Wildflowers stamp set from Scrapbook.com and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Next, I stamped a lovely sentiment from the Uplifting Verses stamp set and finished it off with some gold pearls.

Although this card came together pretty quickly, it really looks so elegant!

Hello Friends! Today, I'm sharing a fall themed card using beautiful products from Scrapbook.com. Although we really don't have much of an autumn here in south Florida, I absolutely love fall colors and the thought of sweater weather! LOL!

This card came together pretty easily because I used gorgeous patterned paper from the Harvest paper pad. I just love the browns and yellows in the papers I chose. Next, I used a great die from Pink and Main to cut those mod rectangles.

After layering them onto my card base, I pulled out one of my all time favorite die collections, Sprigs and die cut that out of vellum. Next, I die cut a circle and stamped an image from the Rose Blossoms set and a sentiment from the Hi Fall stamp set.

I adhered the sprig and circle sentiment onto my panel and this card was done.

I hope you liked today's card! Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. It's still super hot and rainy here in south Florida, but I'm good with it!

Today, I'm sharing a colorful card using a beautiful stamp set from Scrapbook.com.

I used a few Karin markers and then washed over them with water and a paint brush to create this beautiful colorful background. Next, I stamped a gorgeous floral from the Wildflowers stamp set in black ink.

Lastly, I used a sentiment from a set that is quickly becoming a craft room favorite, Hi Fall. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder then adhered my panel onto my card base.

I absolutely love how this card turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I know it's been a little quiet around the blog lately, but our summer was jam packed! Paige is back in school so we're starting to get back into a routine again.

Today, I'm sharing a Traveler's Notebook spread using the beautiful Daisy Fields collection from Cocoa Daisy. This collection is absolutely gorgeous! I found a photo that was taken a few years ago of me and my bestie in Ankeny, IA. We had such a great time there and Ankeny is just the most quaint city I've been to in quite some time.

I titled this spread Girl Trip and I really love how it turned out. The lovely mural that we're standing in front of just plays so beautifully off of the pages in the TN. I added a few embellishments but that bold title and my sub-title on the right side really steal the show!

I love that Cocoa Daisy always includes a sentiment or two on their patterned paper and I enjoy using  those for titles and sub-titles. I did just a small amount of journaling at the top of the page and this spread was complete! For even more inspiration, check out the Cocoa Daisy blog.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I really appreciate you stopping by! Have a lovely day!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I know it's been a little quiet around here lately, but my family and I just got back from a 7-day cruise! It was absolutely paradise! We went to Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico. It was AMAZING! We relaxed, Paige and I snuck in a little time to craft, we ate (a lot) and just had a great time!

Today I'm sharing a thank you card made with some really awesome products from Scrapbook.com. I used the sweet Scalloped Heart dies to create two pockets on the front of my card. I die cut two of each size so I could have a two-tone heart. I love how that looks! Next, I pulled out my Rainbow paper pad to cut a few butterflies to add around the card.

Lastly, I added that awesome thank you sentiment! That sentiment is from the Invitation stamp set. This set is great for any type of party you can think of! You definitely need this one in your stash!

I added a few sequins to finish off the card and I love how it turned out! I hope you enjoyed today's card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Carol
