Hello Friends! I hope you're doing well in your neck of the woods. The weather here has been absolutely beautiful. Low 80's and almost NO humidity! I have been having some really good hair days! LOL!

Today, I have a colorful birthday card to share using products from Scrapbook.com.

Okay, I am totally smitten with the Market Bloom Shopping Bags there are two types of bags and you can even fit a gift card inside! I love it! Okay, so let me back up to how I started this card. I used a wavy die to cut out my rainbow colors from the Sherbet paper pad. Next, I used my nested arches die to cut out my rainbow. I adhered that to my card front and then die cut my Market Bloom Shopping Bags out of kraft card stock.

I wanted to add a little interest to my bag so I added some daisies. Next, I die cut a few autumn leaves out of vellum and adhered that inside my bag. I added that to my card front and last but not least, I die cut my Happy Birthday sentiment and added that on top of my bag.

I think this card turned out so fun and festive! Perfect for a birthday. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was wonderful! I'm popping in today with a colorful, floral thank you card.

Isn't this card fun! I used the Sunshine Blooms stamp set with various ink colors. I have a confession, I am in love the new ink colors from Concord & 9th. So, I stamped a panel with those beautiful blooms and then I added a text background over top using the Prose background stamp. I just love how that looks.

Next, I grabbed a banner die from my stash and then came the fun part...rub-ons! I used the gorgeous Joyful Flowers rub-ons for the butterflies, sentiment and sub-sentiment. And, if I've said it once, I've said it a million times, the rub-ons from Scrapbook.com go onto your paper like BUTTAH!!

This is such a fun and colorful card! I can't wait to get it into the mail and hopefully make someone's day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a lovely weekend! My weekend has been really nice. We hung out with some friends and went bowling on Saturday. And, today we went to church and had a nice lunch afterward. Now we're home just chilling for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

I have a sweet card to share with you today! All products are from Scrapbook.com and they were so much to play with!

I used the jewels and sherbet smooth cardstock paper pads to die cut some fresh fruit (insert smile). Don't you just love those sweet little hearts in the watermelon slices?!

Before adding my die cut pieces, I adhered a slim strip of gold foiled paper from my stash to the left side of my card. Next, I die cut my sentiment from vellum and black cardstock using the the Hello Sunshine die set. To finish off the card, I added a small pink clay heart from my stash. I think it looks so sweet!

I don't make CAS cards very often, but I have to say, I love how this one turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing fantastic! I'm finally getting myself back into the swing of things after my second visit to Barcelona in less than a month. I was TIRED! But, I found some time to play in my craft room and I'm so glad I did!

Today, I have a birthday card using the Spring Flower Cart stamp set. I decided to do a little messy watercoloring using dye inks from my stash.

I used Tin Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock to heat emboss my image before adding the watercolor. I wasn't worried about staying in the lines because I was really going a for a messy look. After I finished my watercoloring, I also added some distress oxide spray and I love how it turned out!

I also used the Birthday Banners die and some gold glitter cardstock to add to the top of my card along with a sub-sentiment that I heat embossed onto the flower cart. This is such a fun and cheerful card and although I didn't use it on this card, there is also a coordinating die that you can pick up at Scrapbook.com!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your part of the world. I recently returned from a work trip to Barcelona, and it was AMAZING! I feel so inspired and as soon as I got home (well let's be honest, the day after I got home) I went right to my craft room! I picked up a couple of souvenirs for one of Paige's teachers, and all I had on hand was a plain gift bag. So, I dressed it up a bit!

I used the gorgeous Market Bloom paper pad along with the Hello Sunshine die set to create my DIY gift bag. Both of these amazing products were used during SBC Fest. If you did not have an opportunity to catch SBC Fest live, I highly encourage you to check out the replay.

Creating this bag and tag was simple, I didn't even need to cut the patterned paper for the gift bag. I just turned it to its side and adhered it to the middle of the bag.

For the tag, I used the "B" side of the same patterned paper which is that beautiful hunter green color. I die cut my flowers and stems from the Market Bloom Florals die set. I used similar colors to the florals in the patterned paper and then I just adhered them to the tag. Oh, the tag! I used the Nested Tags die set which is go-to product in my craft room.

I then added my sentiment using a mirror card stock. I cut the shadow die with a piece of vellum and adhered my sentiment on top. I then popped up my sentiment using some really small foam squares. I am just smitten with this tag!

Do you create your own gift bags and tags? If not, I sure hope you give it a try! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! I'm back today sharing another card using the amazing Mixed Media cardstock from Scrapbook.com. Can I just tell you that I love the black cardstock! I rarely use black in my card projects, but I really had fun with this one!

I used glitter brushes to add a little shimmer and shine to my background. I then used white pigment ink to add some splatter to my background. What I loved about this is the white ink actually picked up the color from the glitter brush markers which gave a really cool effect.

Next, I die cut the mini heart balloons and I added those to the left side of my card. Lastly, I added my sentiment from the Happy Birthday set. I die cut it three times to add a little dimension to the card.

This was such a fun card to make. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! Well, just like my title says, I have a new school pic for Paige and of course I had to add it to my Memorydex. I just love flipping through all the pics and seeing how much she's grown up!

I started by using the brand new Mixed Media smooth white cardstock fromScrapbook.com and I stenciled the butterflies using Distress Oxide inks

I then added my photo and the year underneath using the Joyful alpha dies along with the Market Bloom pattered paper. Next, I die cut a few leaves using the same patterned paper and vellum. To finish off this card, I added a wax seal! It's my first time creating a wax seal and I loved it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to be Guest Designing this month for Poppy Stamps! The Poppy Challenge this month is Heart Eyes. Hey, with Valentine's Day right around the corner, I can't think of a better theme for the challenge. I used an assortment of Poppy Stamps for my card.

I went for a mini slimline card and I just love the way the Diamond Sentiments stamp set looks on this card. I used various shades of alcohol ink markers to color the main image. I then stenciled the hearts for a subtle background before adding my sentiment.

For a little extra detail, I used the Teardrop Butterfly dies to add a few fluttering butterflies around my sentiment. To finish off the card, I used sequins for some added bling. I love how this card turned out! Make sure you check out the Poppy Stamps blog for even more inspiration and to enter the challenge!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday! The weekend is finally here and I am so ready for it! I know that I'll be spending part of my weekend at my daughter's volleyball tournament and I'm super excited about that. It's so nice to see all the girls learning and growing and gaining more confidence.

Well, speaking of gaining confidence, I did something for the first time...Gel Plate Printing! I've been watching Vicki Boutin do this for years and I finally decided to give it a try! I'll be honest, it wasn't super easy for me because there is a technique to getting the paint right on the gel plate. But I stuck with it!

And, here's what I ended up with and I actually really love them! I chose one to create a birthday card and Voila!

I love the "Artsy" feel of this card! I used a butterfly stencil and acrylic paint all from Scrapbook.com to create my background. I also used the nested arch dies to cut it out and I added a rub-on for my sentiment. I absolutely LOVE the rub-on's from Scrapbook.com because they go on like buttah!

I think I might be hooked on this technique! It was so much fun and I truly love the results! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I know that the temps have been brutal throughout the US so wherever you are, I hope you are safe and warm!

What's the one occasion we always need a card for...birthday's, of course! I must admit that my birthday stash is getting pretty low, but I recently received some new items from Scrapbook.com and I couldn't wait to make a card!

The Birthday paper pad is amazing! I love the colors and patterns in this paper pad. I started this card by die cutting the balloon patterned paper with a Scalloped rectangle die. I then sprayed a little distress oxide ink to add more interest.

Next, I used the Happy Birthday stamp set for my main sentiment as well as my sub-sentiment. I stamped the larger sentiment onto scrap paper and cut it out and adhered it to the front of my card with foam adhesive. I then stamped my sub-sentiment directly below. To finish off the card, I added a few glitter drops because we all love a little sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I have a sweet card to share with you today. I know we all love our friends and what better time than the start of the new year to let them know how much they mean to us? I used fabulous products from Scrapbook.com to create this card.

I absolutely love the soft colors in this palette. I used dies from the Winter Wishes bundle and decided to turn this card into a shaker! After die cutting, I added the sweater and sequins into the shaker and die cut more patterned paper to adhere around the window.

I also die cut a few snowflakes for an extra embellishment. This was such a fun card to make!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
