Hello Friends! Well, like the title says, I made another scrapbook layout, Woohoo! I am really enjoying the process of scrapbooking. I guess it's kinda easy when you have such a cute subject like Paige. LOL!

A few weeks ago, we had a Mother-Daughter day and we went to a butterfly park. Well, not just any butterfly park, it's the largest butterfly park in the World and it's only a 30 minute drive away. I've lived in south Florida for over 20 years and this was my first time there and I must say, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

For this layout I used some awesome exclusive products from Scrapbook.com. I used the slimline lattice stencil for my background. I first added gesso to my stencil then set it aside to dry. Once it was completely dry, I used my Vicki Boutin gel crayons and just scribbled color to the background and used a brush to smooth it out. Then, I went thorough my stash looking for embellishments. I used gold stickers for a quick little title on the bottom of the page along with some gold pearls. I really love how this layout came together, it's bright and vibrant just like Paige!

I hope you enjoyed today's post and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! It's Mix it up Monday!  In this series I'll be using products from various companies to hopefully come up with a cohesive card design. Today's card features products from four different companies!

I had so much fun making this card! I just love the sweet girly look. This card came together super quickly because I used a stencil to ink blend onto colored card stock. This is such a great tip that I picked from another crafter, Mindy Eggen. After that, I kept the stencil in place and added a text background over the ink blending, that's a tip I picked up from my friend Nichol Spohr. 😀I had some leftover die cuts with those pretty flowers that I added to the corners and if you haven't picked up that label stamp/die combo from Waffle Flower Crafts, I highly recommend it! I have a cute container full of these so I can just grab and go when I need them! It's really a genius product.

All products are listed below:

Blossoms & Berries, washi tape/die combo - Pink Fresh Studio

Water color stencil - MFT

Script Bold Print - Hero Arts

Label Maker Sentiments stamp - Waffle Flower Crafts

That's about it for this card, I sure hope you liked it! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing well! My weekend has been great! I spent time with my family, did a little crafting and a little resting. All much needed!

Today I'm sharing a pocket page. Scrapbook.com will be coming out soon with a great stamp set called Vintage Cookbook and it is so cute! I was so happy to get the opportunity to create with it. I don't know about you, but I love recipes. And one thing that I really love are the recipes that I have that were handwritten by my mom. I decided to make a couple of recipe cards and add them to Paige's scrapbook so she can look back on them years from now and smile.

Along with the stamp set, I used alpha stickers from a Scrapbook.com sticker book as well as a few of their pocket cards. This came together so quickly and it just makes my heart happy that hopefully this will be something that Paige will treasure.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the weekend! I recently received some new goodies from Scrapbook.com and I could not wait to play! I decided to go with a Hello card because you always need one of those in your stash.

I used the awesome Slimline Stripe stencil for the background and then went to one of my favorite go-to stamps, Spring Sprigs to create that wreath background. I also pulled out a beautiful hello die to add to the center and I used some metallic gold pearls to finish off the card. I really love how this card turned out, simple and sweet just like I like it!

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! It's Mix it up Monday!  In this series I'll be using products from various companies to hopefully come up with a cohesive card design. Today's card features products from four different companies!

This card was so much fun! I recently worked on a set of Get Well cards for a client and that little band-aid was perfect! I die cut the band-aids using some patterned paper and I already had those little hearts cut out and in a dish on my desk so that worked out perfectly. I also used a scalloped die for the background that I emobossed with an embossing folder. I love how the white on white looks with the emobossing and detailed edge on the white card base. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment then added it to the center of the card. I really love how this turned out!

Most of the products used on this cards are listed below:

Band-Aids dienamics - MFT Stamps
Master Layouts 4 - Gina K Designs
Listen to Heart stamp set by Taylored Expressions is no longer available, but here is a good alternative: In and Out Get Well
The embossing folder used is really an oldie and is no longer available. But, any embossing folder you have would work perfectly because you're just looking for a little texture.

I'll definitely need to start checking websites before I use products because as you can see, I keep stuff for a long time!!

I hope you enjoyed today's card, thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol
