Hello Friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was wonderful! I'm popping in today with a colorful, floral thank you card.

Isn't this card fun! I used the Sunshine Blooms stamp set with various ink colors. I have a confession, I am in love the new ink colors from Concord & 9th. So, I stamped a panel with those beautiful blooms and then I added a text background over top using the Prose background stamp. I just love how that looks.

Next, I grabbed a banner die from my stash and then came the fun part...rub-ons! I used the gorgeous Joyful Flowers rub-ons for the butterflies, sentiment and sub-sentiment. And, if I've said it once, I've said it a million times, the rub-ons from Scrapbook.com go onto your paper like BUTTAH!!

This is such a fun and colorful card! I can't wait to get it into the mail and hopefully make someone's day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a lovely weekend! My weekend has been really nice. We hung out with some friends and went bowling on Saturday. And, today we went to church and had a nice lunch afterward. Now we're home just chilling for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

I have a sweet card to share with you today! All products are from Scrapbook.com and they were so much to play with!

I used the jewels and sherbet smooth cardstock paper pads to die cut some fresh fruit (insert smile). Don't you just love those sweet little hearts in the watermelon slices?!

Before adding my die cut pieces, I adhered a slim strip of gold foiled paper from my stash to the left side of my card. Next, I die cut my sentiment from vellum and black cardstock using the the Hello Sunshine die set. To finish off the card, I added a small pink clay heart from my stash. I think it looks so sweet!

I don't make CAS cards very often, but I have to say, I love how this one turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing fantastic! I'm finally getting myself back into the swing of things after my second visit to Barcelona in less than a month. I was TIRED! But, I found some time to play in my craft room and I'm so glad I did!

Today, I have a birthday card using the Spring Flower Cart stamp set. I decided to do a little messy watercoloring using dye inks from my stash.

I used Tin Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock to heat emboss my image before adding the watercolor. I wasn't worried about staying in the lines because I was really going a for a messy look. After I finished my watercoloring, I also added some distress oxide spray and I love how it turned out!

I also used the Birthday Banners die and some gold glitter cardstock to add to the top of my card along with a sub-sentiment that I heat embossed onto the flower cart. This is such a fun and cheerful card and although I didn't use it on this card, there is also a coordinating die that you can pick up at Scrapbook.com!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Carol

HAPPINESS CRAFTED

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your part of the world. I recently returned from a work trip to Barcelona, and it was AMAZING! I feel so inspired and as soon as I got home (well let's be honest, the day after I got home) I went right to my craft room! I picked up a couple of souvenirs for one of Paige's teachers, and all I had on hand was a plain gift bag. So, I dressed it up a bit!

I used the gorgeous Market Bloom paper pad along with the Hello Sunshine die set to create my DIY gift bag. Both of these amazing products were used during SBC Fest. If you did not have an opportunity to catch SBC Fest live, I highly encourage you to check out the replay.

Creating this bag and tag was simple, I didn't even need to cut the patterned paper for the gift bag. I just turned it to its side and adhered it to the middle of the bag.

For the tag, I used the "B" side of the same patterned paper which is that beautiful hunter green color. I die cut my flowers and stems from the Market Bloom Florals die set. I used similar colors to the florals in the patterned paper and then I just adhered them to the tag. Oh, the tag! I used the Nested Tags die set which is go-to product in my craft room.

I then added my sentiment using a mirror card stock. I cut the shadow die with a piece of vellum and adhered my sentiment on top. I then popped up my sentiment using some really small foam squares. I am just smitten with this tag!

Do you create your own gift bags and tags? If not, I sure hope you give it a try! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Carol
