Hello Friends! I hope you're having a good start to your week. I can tell you that I believe that spring has already ended and summer is full swing down here in Florida...it's HOT! With that said, I have bright colors on my mind and I used a few of those bright colors for this cheerful birthday card.

Scrapbook.com recently released some new exclusive stamps, stencils and patterned paper. Yup, you read that right, patterned paper! I {hoard} love patterned paper and I'm super happy that Scrapbook.com
released some really great collections!

For this card, I used the Party Animal stamp set and created a wreath with those adorable balloon pups! If you don't have a template to make a wreath, just lightly draw a line in the center of your paper then another to draw an "X" from side to side. That will give you quadrants so you know where to position your stamp. I also cut my card front into a four inch square size so the stamped images would be aligned all the way around. To help fill out my wreath, I used the star and confetti images in between the balloon pups.

Next, I die cut a stitched circle from one of the lovely patterns in the Rainbow Patterned Paper pack and stamped two sentiments from the Happy Birthday stamp set. I adhered that onto my card front with some foam adhesive. I also trimmed down some yellow card stock to layer my card front and adhered it onto a 4.75 x 4.75 card base.

I love how festive and fun this card turned out! I hope you enjoyed it too! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs,

Carol

HAPPINESS CRAFTED

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to be Guest Designing for Gina K this month! Oh my goodness, it's another FABULOUS release! I had the opportunity to work with The Best Things in Life stamp set designed by Lisa Hetrick. It is absolutely Beautiful!

Since the floral image is rather tall, I decided to make a mini slimline card using Master Layouts 7. I absolutely love the stitched detail around the card front. I then stamped that awesome brushstroke included in the set to add some color using the new layering inks, Light CarnationMedium Carnation, and Dark Carnation. After that, I stamped the floral image in black and included the best things in life sentiment to the top. I decided not to use a lot of embellishments because the Morning Glories are so beautiful, so I just added a heart to finish off the card.

I truly believe that this stamp set will be a staple in my craft room. I can see myself reaching for it again and again. I hope you'll check out the shop for all of the new release goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! There's a New Release over at the Ink Blot Shop! There's something for everyone in this release from dads, to basics even envelopes! I used the All Tied Up stencil and Hey Dude stamp set for this Father's Day card.

My hubby's favorite color is purple so I went for an ombre effect on my mini slimline card. Let me tell you, the Hey Dude stamp set is HUGE! Lots of sentiments for all the guys in your life!

This card came together pretty quickly and it would be super easy to mass produce! I also added a few star sequins to finish off this card.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and I also hope you'll swing by the Ink Blot Shop to check out all of the items in this new release! Happy Shopping!

Hugs,

Carol
