Hello Friends! I have some EXCITING news to share! LDRS Creative has teamed up with Scrapbook.com for an amazing bundle called Hey Friend. This bundle is sold exclusively at Scrapbook.com and it's SO GOOD!

The kit includes a beautiful floral stamp set with a coordinating one piece die. I love the one piece die because it cuts all of the images individually but with one large die! I always have such a hard time lining up one stamped image with a small die. So, I love this. You also get a coordinating stencil which makes it a breeze to add color to the stamped images. This bundle is fabulous! Okay, enough talking about it, let's see it in action!

I decided to heat emboss the floral images with white embossing powder. After I heat embossed, I used the stencils to add some beautiful colors and a little shading. I die cut all of the images and decided that since I had so many flowers, I would make two cards.

So, I made this A2 card by adding some beautiful patterned paper from the One Fine Day collection and cutting it out with one of my all-time favorite dies, A2 Diagonal Stitch. Next I used the A2 Background Strips die to cut a piece of orange card stock. I adhered that to the middle of my card and added that sweet Elegant Stitched frame. I did a little ink blending with distress oxide ink and added a little water for the subtle shabby chic effect. I added my flower and the Thank You sentiment which is also from the bundle.

My second card is a 4-Bar card and it uses the same elements as the A2 card just a little differently.

I absolutely love how both of these cards turned out! Head on over to Scrapbook.com to pick yours up before they're gone!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to be celebrating Spellbinders 20th birthday and I'm sharing this super cool interactive die set from the Birthday Celebrations Collection. It's called Pick Your Greeting Slider and I had so much fun playing with it!

How stinkin' cute is that!! The great thing about this die set is, it's super easy to put together. For this card, I ink blended my background with distress oxide inks. I also splattered a little water to give it that cool effect. For the slider mechanism, I die cut the track out of patterned paper and the slider from a piece of orange card stock from my stash. Next, I die cut the arrow from card stock and that cute little cupcake from an add-on also available from Spellbinders

I added foam strips behind the track and the slider piece fits snug as a bug in a rug in between the foam strips. I also adhered the arrow onto the slider with foam strips and added my cupcake to the arrow. Also, all of the words are included with the Pick Your Greeting Slider and I just die cut them out of the same patterned paper and adhered them to the side of the slider. That sweet Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Complimentary Greetings stamp set.

While I had everything out, and since I was having so much fun, I decided to make another card.

Same concept as the first card, but I used patterned paper instead of ink blending and I made it a Thank You card instead of a birthday card. Easy and Fun!!

I hope you'll give this Pick Your Greeting Slider a try because I know you'll love it! Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs,

Carol

HAPPINESS CRAFTED

Hello Friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had a great weekend with my family! We went bowling and out for dinner and just had an awesome time. It feels so nice getting back out and doing the things that we love to do.

Today, I'm sharing a birthday card, but not just any birthday card, a full panel shaker birthday card! Can you say FUN?!

This card was super easy to put together. It's another one of those cards that like to call, QAE, Quick and Easy! I used the beautiful Rainbow patterned paper from Scrapbook.com for my background. I stamped a sentiment from the Happy Birthday stamp set, also from Scrapbook.com. There are some incredible fonts in that stamp set, I highly recommend it!

After that, I used a shaker pocket to wrap around my patterned paper and after closing three of sides, I filled it up with a mix of sequins and sealed the last side. I adhered that to my top folding A2 note card and this card was done! Quick and Easy!

If you haven't given a full panel shaker card a try, what are you waiting for?! Now that there are great products to make it easier you should really give it a try. Trust me, you'll be glad you did!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugs,

Carol
