Hello Friends! How are things going for you? I hope things are going well and you're spending as much time possible crafting! Things here have been busy, I recently got a promotion at work and I've been traveling and it's been super busy! I love being busy though, so I'm totally okay with it.

Today, I'm sharing a card using a new stamp/die set from Scrapbook.com called Gratitude. I don't know about you, but I am so thankful for every little thing in my life. That includes the ups and downs because even in the down times there are lessons to be learned and reasons to be thankful for the journey.

For this card, I grabbed a piece of white card stock and stamped the word gratitude. I love that the word looks like it's straight from the dictionary. I also underlined the word because I thought it just made it stand out even more.

Below the word is the definition, which I love. The great thing is, it's all one stamp so you don't have to worry about lining anything up. Next, I die cut the G (included with the stamp/die set) out of a corally pink card stock. I matted the panel against black card stock to really bring out the design.

I adhered it onto a side folding A2 notecard and that was it! I love how this card turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by today. And remember, in all things, give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18)!

Hugs,

Carol

HAPPINESS CRAFTED

Hello Friends! How were your holidays? I hope they were terrific! Today, I'm sharing a winter card using stamps from Scrapbook.com.

Isn't that the most adorable pig you've ever seen?! She's from the stamp set that's coming soon called Christmas Friends. I can just squeal every time I look at that pig! For the background of this card, I heat embossed snowflakes from the Dainty Snowflakes stamp/die set.

I ink blended some turquoise ink onto the heat embossed images then cut the panel down. I also die cut a a piece of patterned paper and then adhered my super cute pig on top. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment, fussy cut it and added it below my image.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol
