Hello Friends! Today, I'm sharing another card using the Spellbinders Glimmer Foil system. I think I'm lightweight addicted! LOL! I just used a small sentiment because I tried using another foiled frame, but on this black card stock you could really see the over foiling! So, I whipped up this card instead.

After I foiled the sentiment, I splattered some Brutus Monroe Aqua Pigment ink on the background and matted it onto some gold card stock. That beautiful die you ask? It's from Simon Says Stamp. It's called Etched Eucalyptus...Gorgeous! I definitely need to get this in the mail, otherwise I'm just going to sit and stare at it every day!

So, we got our daughter a big girl bike for Christmas, so we're off to teach her how to ride it with no "stabilizers" as she says. Wish us luck! LOL!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! So, my wonderful hubby hooked me up with a Spellbinders Glimmer Foil system and a Spellbinders Platinum machine for my birthday last month. I'll be honest, I've been a little intimidated to to use it but I've been watching YouTube video after YouTube video to boost my confidence! LOL! Here's my first cards using it.

The foiling is so hard to capture in photos, but trust me it's a beautiful pink metallic foil and looks really pretty in person! I used foil plates from The Stamp Market for the hello and hi sentiments and that font is everything! I also used a great die from Simon Says Stamp, it's called Dial Phone and I am in love with it!! There's just something about rotary phones and typewriters...they must bring back happy memories because they sure do make me smile!

Well, I certainly hope your week is off to a great start! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! I had a wonderful time with my hubby and daughter. We opened gifts, played board games ate lots of food and just chilled. Since we stayed home it was very relaxing and no rushing around so although it was a BIG change from our normal plans, it actually felt okay being home and having a little down time.

So, today I'm sharing a cheerful card. Now that Christmas is over and hopefully the stress of the holiday has subsided, just sit back, SMILE and destress!

I used alpha dies and that sweet sunny stencil from Scrapbook.com along with their slimline cards. I love that they have slimline cards that are already cut and scored for you. I don't know about you, but I can never remember the size for slimline cards so having the cards ready to go is awesome for me! I also used the most beautiful paper pad from American Crafts + Paige Evans, it's called Go The Scenic Route. You will be seeing this patterned paper again and again because like I said, it's beautiful!

Well, I don't know about you, but it's back to work for me tomorrow. But, at least it's a short week! I hope the rest of your day is a great one. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! We received our daughter's school pictures and they are as cute as can be! If you remember, I started adding her school pics to my Blush Memorydex so I wasted no time adding this one!

This little girl just lights up my craft room! I love having this Memorydex on my craft desk in full view so I can get a little sunshine whenever I need it! Well, I'm off to do some gift wrapping. I still can't believe that Christmas is literally around the corner!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

Hello Friends! Living in South Florida, we really don't have what one would call winter. We have a few chilly days with lots of sunshine, but no snow. With that said, I kinda live vicariously through my craft supplies when it comes to winter themed cards. For this sweet hello card, I used one of my favorite dies from Scrapbook.com for the large snowflake image.

I ink blended the background using distress oxide inks, for me, the oxide inks blend like buttah! I also used the newest color, rustic wilderness which I am in love with! It is truly the perfect green! For my image I did a little gold heat embossing around the edge of my card front as well as the snowflake die cut. I also cut that cute hello sentiment with gold card stock. A few strategically placed sequins finished off the card. I'm pretty sure I'm going to send this card to my mom. She lives in Ohio and loves the snow so I think it will be perfect for her!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Carol

Hello Friend! Time is ticking down, only 5 days before Christmas! How did that happen? Well, I am happy to report that I got all of my Christmas cards out in time and I should have the last gift for Paige delivered tomorrow. Now, I just need to get to wrapping! LOL!

Today, I have a festive and cheery Christmas card to share with you using exclusive products from Scrapbook.com.

I did a little ink blending on my background and stamped all those cute circle sentiments. I used a circle die from my stash to cut them out then added that great Merry Christmas die as my sentiment. I finished off the card with some cute snowflake sequins and one red rhinestone to dot my "i."

I hope you're having a great weekend and are checking off items from your list! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

Hello Friends! Are you ready for Christmas? I'm totally NOT! Our house is decorated, we have lights outside but not one single present under the tree! I really need to get busy!!!

So, I'm popping in today to share a slimline Christmas card. I'm pretty sure this is only the third slimline card I've ever made! The big reason for that is the measurements are not second nature like my normal A2 size cards. So to avoid searching for the measurements, I stick with what I know best. LOL! Well, Scrapbook.com has fixed that problem by having slimline card bases pre-cut and scored for you. Problem Solved!

I'm really loving how these cards turned out! Now, I understand why these slimline cards are so popular, they are really fun to make!

Well, I'm off to do some on-line shopping! Wish me luck! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I'm back today using a couple of exclusive dies from Scrapbook.com. This time I used a wonderful rainbow die as well as a scripty hello die. First, I inked up my background in rainbow order (of course) using a stencil from Altenew which can also be purchased at Scrapbook.com. After I completed the background I found a scrap of holographic card stock in a copper-ish tone to cut out the rainbow.

Lastly, I cut out the hello die a few times, stacked them on top of each other and adhered it to the rainbow. To finish it off, I added that cute little heart to the center. I really love how this card turned out!

I hope the rest of your evening is fantastic. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Carol

Hello Friends! If you're in the US, I hope you've had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I celebrated with my hubby and daughter and this was our first Thanksgiving without my MIL, so it was a tough day. We made it through by looking at photos from last year's Thanksgiving and just giving Him thanks for letting us have her for 90 years!

So, today I have a couple of sweet love cards to share using an awesome heart die from Scrapbook.com. I used some distress oxide ink and a little spritz of water to give the die cuts a little interest. I also cut a bunch of strips of smooth card stock also from Scrapbook.com to add some color to the cards. I absolutely love how these turned out!

I hope the rest of your weekend is fabulous! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I am so excited to share how I've been decorating my Heidi Swapp Blush Memorydex! This beautiful pink color is only available at Scrapbook.com and as you can gather from the name of my blog, I love all things Pink! So, you know the tons of school pictures you buy because you really thought you had at least 100 people to give them to? Well, I have so many school pictures leftover from the last few years, so I decided to make my Memorydex into a mini scrapbook album. I haven't scrapbooked in ages, but this was the perfect project for me to get those creative juices flowing.

This is such a fun project and it's looking mighty cute on my craft desk! I'll keep adding little by little and continue to keep you updated on my progress! I hope you're having a crafty day!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I don't know about you, but I'm always in need of thank you cards. I have such wonderful friends and family in my life and I love sending a little note of thanks just to let them know how much they are loved and appreciated. I used some exclusive Scrapbook.com products to create these sweet cards.

Although I have the cards made, why is it always so hard to actually get them in the mail? LOL! Hopefully, I'll get these out tomorrow along with a few more that I have in my stash! I hope you have a lovely day!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! Are you gearing up for Christmas and making your lists and checking them twice?? I sure am! I started off with creating some Christmas tags. I don't know about you, but I always either seem to forget to buy tags or a run out! So, I decided to start making a few now, a few later and before I know it, I'll have enough for the Christmas season! I used some great supplies from Scrapbook.com and they are having huge sales for your shopping pleasure!

I used some water color paint, stamps, heat embossing as well as a few stickers. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Okay, so I am by no means a water color expert but I am falling in love with it! Although I'm no expert, I do have a bit of advice, Before you start your project, be sure to swatch your water colors! I actually thought the "red" I used was a deeper shade, but once the water was added, it lightened to a beautiful shade of pink which I love!

I used the Kuretake Gansai Tambi water color palette and the colors are so creamy and vibrant! I highly recommend it!! And, the swatches were super fast and easy because under the lid of the water colors is a grid that shows all the names/numbers and a little space for your swatch.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! I'm back today with a set of notecards I made for a friend. These are so fun to make because let's face it, if you're like me, I love to see my name on anything!! LOL! I used a beautiful stamp set from Pink Fresh Studio called Celebrate our Differences. If I'm not mistaken, this sweet set was available during Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp and once it sells out, it's gone for good so I can't guarantee that this stamp set is still available. But, if you were one of the lucky one's that snatched this up, it's a great set to use when you're mass producing cards.

I also used the Brush Splatter background stamp from MFT to add a little more interest to the background. I finished off this card with some glossy pearls from Lucy's Cards

I hope the rest of the weekend is wonderful and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol

Hello Friends! Welcome to my brand new blog! If you don't know me, I'm Carol Weatherspoon and I've been card making for over 10 years. I'm married to my awesome husband, David and I have the sweetest 7 year old daughter named Paige. She is definitely my crafty side-kick!

In the crafting world, I was blessed to be part of the first TeamTE for Taylored Expressions and it was awesome! Our team posted projects on Instagram and Facebook and it was truly an experience that I will never forget! I love Taylor, I love the brand and as you will see with cards I'm sharing today, I LOVE their stamps!

I've also had the opportunity to Guest Design for Gina K Designs and that was another wonderful opportunity. Gina is such a sweet soul and her designs are timeless.

Most recently, I have joined the Scrapbook.com Creative Team! I am over the moon for this opportunity! You'll see me posting for them soon and I truly hope you enjoy it!

So, enough of the intro! Today is my birthday!! I've been having a wonderful day chilling with my family and getting a little crafting time in too! I'm sharing a few holiday cards that I made with a beautiful stamp set from Taylored Expressions called Seasonal Sprig. This is a red rubber stamp with a coordinating stencil so it's super easy to color those beautiful leaves and berries. I also used one of Taylor's masking stencils to create that light green background. I love how soft and sweet these turned out!

I'm so excited to get back into blogging and I'm even happier to have you here with me! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see you back here again soon!

Hugs,
Carol
