Hello Friends and Happy Friday! The weekend is finally here and I am so ready for it! I know that I'll be spending part of my weekend at my daughter's volleyball tournament and I'm super excited about that. It's so nice to see all the girls learning and growing and gaining more confidence.

Well, speaking of gaining confidence, I did something for the first time...Gel Plate Printing! I've been watching Vicki Boutin do this for years and I finally decided to give it a try! I'll be honest, it wasn't super easy for me because there is a technique to getting the paint right on the gel plate. But I stuck with it!

And, here's what I ended up with and I actually really love them! I chose one to create a birthday card and Voila!

I love the "Artsy" feel of this card! I used a butterfly stencil and acrylic paint all from Scrapbook.com to create my background. I also used the nested arch dies to cut it out and I added a rub-on for my sentiment. I absolutely LOVE the rub-on's from Scrapbook.com because they go on like buttah!

I think I might be hooked on this technique! It was so much fun and I truly love the results! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I know that the temps have been brutal throughout the US so wherever you are, I hope you are safe and warm!

What's the one occasion we always need a card for...birthday's, of course! I must admit that my birthday stash is getting pretty low, but I recently received some new items from Scrapbook.com and I couldn't wait to make a card!

The Birthday paper pad is amazing! I love the colors and patterns in this paper pad. I started this card by die cutting the balloon patterned paper with a Scalloped rectangle die. I then sprayed a little distress oxide ink to add more interest.

Next, I used the Happy Birthday stamp set for my main sentiment as well as my sub-sentiment. I stamped the larger sentiment onto scrap paper and cut it out and adhered it to the front of my card with foam adhesive. I then stamped my sub-sentiment directly below. To finish off the card, I added a few glitter drops because we all love a little sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I have a sweet card to share with you today. I know we all love our friends and what better time than the start of the new year to let them know how much they mean to us? I used fabulous products from Scrapbook.com to create this card.

I absolutely love the soft colors in this palette. I used dies from the Winter Wishes bundle and decided to turn this card into a shaker! After die cutting, I added the sweater and sequins into the shaker and die cut more patterned paper to adhere around the window.

I also die cut a few snowflakes for an extra embellishment. This was such a fun card to make!

Hello Friends and Happy New Year! 2024 is here and I'm ready for it! I'm looking forward to year filled with spending time with my family and friends, staying healthy and hanging out in my craft room as much as possible! I also want to thank you all for all of your support throughout 2023, I appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

Today, I'm sharing a sparkly card because it's the new year and it's time to shine! All products are from Scrapbook.com.

Isn't this such a fun card? I started by die cutting the disco ball from the Disco die set out of holographic paper.

Next, I heat embossed my sentiment along with a few other sparkle stamps. I also added some ink splatter to give that galaxy look. To finish off the card, I added a few silver pearls.

Here's hoping your 2024 is off to a great start and I'm wishing you an amazing year!

Hugs,

Carol
