Hello Friends! Is it still cold in your neck of the woods? Well, my mom lives in Ohio and it's certainly still chilly at her house! Sometimes, living in Florida, I forget that it's winter just about everywhere else. Not saying that to brag, but we really get used to the conditions we live in and honestly, I expect sunshine and blue skies every day! LOL!
Well, since I know it's not spring/summer everywhere, I thought I'd make a winter themed card.
Doesn't it just look icy and wintery?! For this card I used the Nordic Sweater slimline stencil from Scrapbook.com. Remember, you can use a slimline stencil for a regular A2 size card, just trim it down and you'll have a nice mat around your card front. After stenciling, I added a little border using the Stitched Border slimline die and adhered one to the top and bottom of my card. After that, I pulled out the Peppermint Christmas sticker book. If you have not used a sticker book from Scrapbook.com I highly encourage you to do so. The stickers are nice and thick and hold up really well on a card.
Lastly, I used the Nested Decorative Circles fancy die and cut one of those out of rainbow glitter paper. I adhered the fancy circle around my two sticker sentiments then added a few sequins to give the card a little more bling and a kind of snowy effect. I absolutely love how this turned out. I'm totally sending this card to my mom!!
I hope you enjoyed today's card. Thank you all so much for stopping by today.
Hugs,
Carol
