Hello Friends! I hope you're having a great weekend! Today, I'm sharing a sweet encouragement card using Pops of Color from Scrapbook.com.

For this card, I used the Spring Floral stencil along with turquoise waters Pops of Color and a scraper tool. I'm telling you, the Pops of Color spread like buttah! Look how beautiful that background is! And when it dries, there's a beautiful shine to it, Love it! While my panel dried, I cut a strip of vellum and heat embossed my sentiment from the Feel Better Sentiments 1 stamp set. I added the strip to my card front and adhered it to my card base. I thought my card needed just a little somethin' somethin' so I added a few dots of soft lavender Pops of Color to my background.

I love how sweet and soft this card turned out. This will certainly help encourage someone that may be going through a difficult time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friend! Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout with my Cool Kid that got some Cool Glasses! Last year, Paige's teacher told us that she was having some trouble seeing when she uses the projector screen. She could read the chalkboard fine, but things were a little blurry for her with the screen. So, off to the ophthalmologist we went and sure enough, she needed some reading glasses. We had so much fun trying on ALL the glasses and she chose this pair...

Isn't she a cutie!! For this layout I pulled out some watercolors for my background and I used a cool tool from Vicki Boutin called an art wedge to drag the watercolor across my page. Love the organic look it gives! Once that dried, I used some pocket cards from Scrapbook.com for my embellishments as well as my journaling card. I also added Pops of Color all around my layout as well as my journaling card. Also, it's a little hard to see but I used the Mini Hearts stencil and white Pops of Color to add a little texture behind my photo and the sprigs. It looks great in person!

I love how bright and cheerful this layout is! I hope you enjoyed it too. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! It's that time of year again, graduation time! It's always good to have a few graduation cards on hand because if you're like me, you completely lose track of time and before you know it, your best friend's child is graduating! Where does the time go?! I used some great products from Spellbinders for this graduation card.

For my background, I used the awesome Splatter Sentiments hot foil plates. I just love that outline frame and the splatters are perfect. This set can really be used for any occasion! I used my Glimmer Hot Foil system with glimmer specialty cardstock to apply the foil. I'm telling you, that specialty cardstock from Spellbinders is AWESOME! It foils like buttah!

After I finished foiling, I used the Hats off to You etched dies for the graduation cap. I just love that the letters die cut and that tassel...It is everything! I used some gold cardstock to layer behind the sentiment as well as the tassel. I absolutely love how this turned out!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Friends! I hope you're doing well and if you celebrate Easter, I pray that you have a blessed day. Today, I'm sharing a super cute shaped Easter card using products from Scrapbook.com.

For this card, I used the Easter eggs stencil and stenciled the first layer onto a half sheet of card stock using ink from Pink Fresh Studio. I ink blended the second layer using various ink colors to bring a little more interest to the card. After I ink blended, I used a oval die to cut out the stenciled portion. I then die cut another oval and adhered the two ovals together while snipping off a small piece on the bottom of the second oval so the card will stand on it's own.

Next, I added a few dots of Pops of Color onto some of the egg shapes. I love the Pops of Color! They are so versatile and add a quick embellishment to any project. Lastly, I heat embossed a Happy Easter sentiment from my stash. I love how this one turned out!

Such a fun card and super easy to make! I hope you enjoyed today's card, thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Friends! I love making personalized notecards for friends, family as well as clients. I have quite a few folks that purchase cards from me and one of my top sellers is personalized notecards. I recently made this set using the Charming Floral stamp/stencil and die bundle from Pink Fresh Studio.

I used my computer and a Word document to add the "A Note From" sentiment and ran it through my printer. After stamping and stenciling, I die cut that beautiful floral border and added it to the top of the card. You can't really see it in the picture, but I added a little pink shading around the card front and that was it!

I really love how this set turned out, heck, I think I want to make a set for myself! LOL! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol

Hello Friends! I have exciting news to share today. I joined the Cocoa Daisy Creative Team! I am SO happy and so grateful to part of this amazing team!

I'll be sharing projects using the Traveler's Notebook and clear stamps subscription kits each month! Many of you know that I have been dabbling back into scrapbooking and the TN size is by far my favorite. So, I'm excited to use Cocoa Daisy's beautiful products and hopefully provide you with awesome inspiration each month.

I officially start my monthly posts on the Cocoa Daisy Blog later this week, but I have a spread to share that I made using last month's kit called, Cactus Moon.

For this spread, I documented Paige holding up her self-portrait. She did an excellent job and captured herself perfectly! I love how she looks at herself; happy, colorful, a snazzy dresser and a lover of sweets! She is just the BEST!

I hope that you'll join me on my journey back into scrapbooking, it's sure to be a lot of fun! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Carol
