Hello Friends! Happy Valentine's Day! Did you do anything special today? Well, my hubby and I have been married for 16 years and he has not missed sending me flowers for Valentine's Day yet, he is such a sweetie. This year he went one step further and gave Paige roses as well, I love that so much!
This year, due to the pandemic the kids were unable to exchange Valentine's with one another. But, you know that didn't stop me from making a card for her teacher! I'm still on board the slimline train and I created a slimline Valentine.
I used an ultra thick slimline card base and word dies from Scrapbook.com along with that beautiful patterned paper called Go the Scenic Route from Paige Evans that I just absolutely love! The background behind the hearts was created using the Diamond Plaid stencil from Pink Fresh Studio just to add a little interest. I love how colorful and happy this card turned out!
Along with this card, Paige and I also gave her teacher some hot cocoa bombs! Have you had those yet? Oh my goodness, not only are they cool, they're really good. I actually found my hot cocoa bomb lady at my local post office! She was shipping out a bunch of boxes at the holidays and of course I introduced myself, got her card and the rest is history!
