Custom Notecard Set

February 21, 2021

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a good weekend! And, if you've been hit by this terrible winter storm, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm popping in today to share a set a custom notecards I made for my mom. Her birthday is next month and she loves receiving cards from me! She's so supportive of my craft and I just love her so much for that. I decided to pull out the Happy Hex card kit from Taylored Expressions. Unfortunately, I checked their website and it looks like this kit may be sold out. But, if you were lucky enough to pick one up, I used all the elements that came in the kit to whip up this set of mini-slim sized cards. If you haven't made a mini-slim card yet, it measures 3.5 x 6. Such a fun size!

My mom's name is Helen so I made three monogram cards and three all-occasion cards. I really love how they turned out. So, those cute envelope seals you see there with the initial "H" well they're vinyl stickers (also from the kit) and if you ever stamp on vinyl stickers, I highly recommend using Staz-On ink. I smeared one so bad using a dye ink so I learned from my mistake! 😊 Perhaps if you do use a dye ink, it may be a good idea to hit it with a heat gun to avoid smearage! LOL!! I know that's totally not a word, but I like it!

I hope you're inspired to whip up a set of cards for someone you care for, I'm sure they would love it! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Carol
