I Made a Scrapbook Layout!

Hello Friends! Are you as shocked by that title as I am?! Well, you know I've been dabbling in pocket scrapbooking (which I love) but I've been watching a lot of Vicki Boutin on Friday nights with her FB Lives and she inspires me SO MUCH! I finally said, "just do it Carol and stop being afraid!" So, here it is!!

When I snapped this photo of Paige, I knew I had to make a scrapbook layout!! I mean the look on her face is just priceless! She was so excited when that delicious sundae was placed in front of her all she could do was this! LOL!

I used a lot of Scrapbook.com exclusive products for this page and I've listed them below for your reference. So, if you've ever watched a Vicki Boutin video, you know that she loves COLOR! And one of her go-to techniques is the KISS technique where you add some ink onto a piece of plastic, spritz it with water then slap it right onto your paper. That's what I did for my background. I think it's sweet, subtle and not bad for my first try! In all honesty, I didn't need to do too much because this picture is definitely the star of the show!! I added a little stamping, ephemera, die cutting and of course a little journaling and this layout was done! The size is 9x12 and I'll add it to my 9x12 Three Ring Binder. I'm really happy with how this turned out!
