Hello Friends! Have you seen the new release at Gina K Designs? Oh my goodness, it's a good one! I am so honored to be guest designing this month. There are new stamp/die combos as well as a new Master Layouts! This one has a scalloped rectangle, hearts, buttons, and banners. It's chock full of goodness!
I've created three cards so far but trust me, there will be more to come!
I used a different technique for each of these cards. For the first one, I thought it would be nice to have a nice shiny gold background so I pulled out my Spellbinders Glimmer Foil machine and used that beautiful die of cascading hearts for the background. I also used the scalloped rectangle and nested heart from Master Layouts 4. I added that sweet sentiment from the I Admire You stamp set and that card was done.
For the second card, I added a fun shaker element to the heart die. Of course I think the ink blended rainbow really made the difference to add some color and jazz up the card a bit.
Lastly, I did an ink "smooshing" technique with my Karin markers for that fun background. I heat embossed one of the beautiful floral images from I Admire You and added that awesome Never Lose Hope sentiment. I love how it turned out!
